Tips Mengembalikan folder yang di Hidden oleh Virus
Tips Chating
Chatting tidak hanya populer kalangan remaja saja namun sekarang ini, sudah merambah kalangan dewasa bahkan orang tua sekalipun. Dengan chatting, kita bebas mengobrol apa saja mulai dari pekerjaan kantor, persahabatan, pelajaran sekolah, mata kuliah, percintaan & perjodohan, sampai dengan hal bersifat pribadi sekali pun. Saking bebasnya kadang-kadang membuat chatter-chatter kebablasan tanpa kontrol yang mungkin dapat membuat chatter lainnya marah dan tersinggung. Walaupun pada saat chatting, tidak terjadi tatap muka secara langsung, namun hal itu seharusnya tidak membuat para chatter meninggalkan etika ketimuran seperti dalam pergaulan pada umumnya. Sehubungan dengan etika dalam chatting, sudah banyak artikel di blog-blog, situs-situs, atau media lainnya yang mengulasnya, namun tidak ada salahnya untuk mengingatkan kembali akan pentingnya hal tersebut, maka pada TIPS DAN TRIK KOMPUTER kali ini akan memberikan tips tips dan etika yang ada hubungannya dengan chatting.
Sebenarnya kita semua sudah sepakat dan mengetahui etika chatting (walau pun tidak disebutkan secara tertulis), namun kita belum menyadari sepenuhnya untuk mempraktekkannya dengan benar. Nah, etika chatting tersebut antara lain, di bawah ini.
· Harus Sopan, siapa pun partner chatting kita, mengenalnya atau tidak, jangan sampai kita memperlakukan partner chatting dengan tidak sopan, seperti mengetikkan kata-kata porno atau kata-kata yang kasar atau tidak pantas lainnya.
· Jangan memaksakan kehendak, apapun alasan partner chatting sehingga dia tidak mau melayani percakapan dengan kita, kita harus menghormatinya dan tidak boleh memaksanya untuk menjawab atau meladeni percakapan kita.
· Harus Jujur, usahakan untuk menuliskan sesuatu apa pun dengan jujur (kecuali untuk hal-hal yang menyangkut privasi), karena hal ini akan membuat partner chatting kita percaya dan menghargai kita. Yakinlah bahwa sejelek atau seburuk apa pun, jika kita mengatakannya dengan jujur, orang lain akan menghargai kita dengan baik dan mengangkat topi untuk itu. Yang sering kita jumpai (bahkan saya sendiri) adalah sulit untuk mengatakan apa adanya, seperti umur, status, atau perkerjaan.
· Jangan suka mengganggu dan iseng, walaupun partner chatting keliatan online, belum tentu dia mempunyai waktu untuk melakukan chatting dengan kita, siapa tahu dia mempunyai pekerjaan yang memerlukan konsentrasi. Jika demikian, kita tidak boleh mengganggunya atau mengisenginya dengan mengetikkan “BUZZ” terus menerus.
· Jangan pernah membawa SARA, karena hal ini sangat sensitive yang dapat memicu perselisihan dan yakinlah hal ini tidak akan memberi manfaat apa-apa bagi kedua belah pihak.
· Ucapkan salam, tidak ada buruknya jika ucapan salam diterapkan pada saat chatting yang justru dapat menambah suasana keakraban. Pada setiap perjumpaan kita bisa mengetikkan selamat siang, halo, hi, atau senang bertemu Anda kembali, atau jika ingin mengakirinya, bisa mengetikkan selamat tinggal, bye, atau sampai ketemu lagi.
· Jangan menuliskan dengan HURUF BESAR (kapital) karena hal ini mengandung arti teriakan sehingga dapat membuat partner chatting marah atau tersinggung.
· Aktifkan status offline, hal ini dapat menjadi alternative jika Anda sedang sibuk dan tidak ingin “diganggu” chatter lain, dan ini sah-sah saja.
· Jangan terlalu banyak membuka dialog pada saat yang bersamaan, jika Anda tidak ingin dikatakan tidak serius oleh partner chatting Anda, karena harus melayani banyak dialog dengan yang lain. Selain itu, jika sembari menyelesaikan tugas pekerjaan, maka akan sangat mengganggu kelancaran pekerjaan Anda tersebut.
· Jangan lupa minta izin kepada partner chatting, pada saat kita ingin meninggalkan komputer, siapa tahu dia sedang menunggu jawaban dari kita.
· Jika Anda salah masuk room dengan tema yang tidak Anda sukai, jangan sekali-sekali membelokkan tema obrolan sesuai keinginan Anda, kecuali Anda sudah mendapat mandat dari chatter lainnya. Atau lebih baik Anda keluar dari room tersebut.
Selain etika chatting yang telah disebutkan di atas, ada tips chatting lain yang mungkin perlu kita ketahui adalah, antara lain seperti di bawah ini.
· Gunakanlah nickname yang baik dan sopan.
· Jangan menggunakan nama asli sebagai nickname Anda.
· Jangan pernah memberikan alamat dan nomor telepon kepada chatter yang belum Anda kenal sama sekali.
· Jika Anda menggunakan webcam, jangan sembarangan memberi izin kepada chatter yang tidak Anda kenal.
· Jika ingin memview webcam dari partner chatter, harus meminta izin dengan baik-baik kepadanya, kalau pun tidak diizinkan Anda harus menghormatinya.
· Jika harus melakukan copy darat, pastikan Anda tidak sendirian, hal ini untuk menghindari hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan.
· Jangan pernah melayani chatter yang menggunakan kata-kata kasar atau tidak sopan.

Menyembunyikan Data Dengan Invisible Secret
Invisible Secret
Apakah ada orang lain yang juga biasa menggunakan komputer Anda? Atau apakah Anda mempunyai data penting yang ingin Anda jaga kerahasiaannya? Jika ya, tentunya Anda harus mengamankan data tersebut. Beragam cara yang dapat digunakan untuk mengamankan data, misalnya dengan memproteksi folder, memberi password pada folder, enkripsi, dan lain-lain.
Invisible Secret menawarkan pengamanan data dengan cara yang agak berbeda, yaitu dengan mengenkripsi dan menyembunyikan file ke dalam sebuah file image. Gambarannya seperti ini, misalnya Anda mempunyai file image (dapat berupa file jpg atau bmp) maka Anda dapat menyembunyikan data ms word, excel, zip dan tipe data lainnya ke dalam file image tersebut.
Setelah disisipi dengan berbagai data bukan berarti file image tersebut akan rusak, tapi masih dapat dilihat secara normal.
Untuk menyembunyikan data dengan menggunakan Invisible Secret caranya adalah sebagai berikut:
- Jalankan software Invisible Secret.
- Klik tombol Next.
- Pilih pada pilihan “Encrypt and/or Hide file(s) in a carrier file”, tekan tombol Next.
- Pilih file image jpg atau bmp yang akan digunakan untuk menyembunyikan data, klik tombol Next.

- Pada langkah ini Anda harus memasukkan atau memilih file yang akan disembuyikan. Klik tombol Add File. Anda dapat menyembunyikan beberapa file sekaligus. Setelah Anda selesai memilih file, klik tombol Next.
Pilh file yang akan disembunyikan
- Masukkan password yang akan digunakan untuk mengenkripsi data, tekan tombol Next.

- Pilih folder dan nama file image yang baru, tekan tombol Next.

Untuk mengekstrak atau membuka kembali data yang telah disembunyikan caranya adalah sebagai berikut:
- Jalankan software Invisible Secret.
- Klik tombol Next.
- Pilih pada pilihan “Extract and/or Decrypt file(s) in a carrier file”, tekan tombol Next.
- Pilih file image yang berisi data yang akan diekstrak, tekan tombol Next.
- Masukkan password, tekan tombol Next.
- Pilih folder tujuan yang akan digunakan untuk mengekstrak file yang tersembunyi pada file image tersebut, klik tombol Next.
Pilih folder untuk mengekstrak file
- Selesai

Bila anda menginginkan PC atau beberapa program atau dokumen anda yang tersimpan di dalam komputer tidak ingin di akses oleh orang lain , Maka berikut ini adalah beberapa cara untuk memproteksi PC dan Program yang ada di dalam komputer anda.
• Proteksi dengan Password Booting
Dengan cara ini maka setiap menghidupkan komputer dan sebelum loading ke windows / OS, kita di minta memasukan password, cara ini di buat melalui setting BIOS , Caranya: yang pertama adalah anda harus masuk ke menu BIOS umumnya PC dengan cara menekan , Tombol "Delete", atau tombol "F2", atau tombol "F1" , pada saat komputer di hidupkan (Booting), ketiga tombol itu yang umumnya ada pada komputer, atau pada saat Booting akan tampak tulisan "Press Del to Setup", "Press F! to Setup", "Press F2 to Setup", anda bisa menekan terus menerus tombol itu saat Booting.
Setelah anda masuk kedalam menu BIOS akan nampak menu "Set User Password". arahkan panah pada keyboard pada menu ini --> enter--> lalu isikan Password anda ( menu "Set Supervisor Password" adalah untuk memberi Password pada saat mau masuk ke menu BIOS) , lalu arahkan panah keyboard pada menu "Save Setting and Exit" , pilih Option "Y" bila di minta konfirmasi.
Sebaiknya anda jangan sampai lupa Password yang telah anda buat dengan cara ini, karena bila anda lupa satu-satunya cara adalah dengan membongkar chasing CPU anda dan di reset Jumper Clear CMOS nya, atau di cabut baterai CMOS nya pada Mainboard.
• Proteksi dengan Password Account Saat Login windows (Untuk Win 2000 keatas)
Yaitu kita di minta memasukan password saat akan login ke program windows, Cara ini saya rasa sudah banyak yang tau caranya. tapi okelah, tak ada salahnya kita bahas. salah satu caranya yaitu:
Klik Start-->Setting-->Control panel-->Administrative Tools-->Computer Management-->Local Users and Groups-->Users-->Pada jendela kanan pilih account login anda (defaultnya Administrator) -->lalu klik-kanan pada account yang anda pilih-->set Password-->Proceed-->masukan Password -->Ok--> selesai--> Restart PC anda.
• Memproteksi File atau Dokumen kita.
1. menyembunyikan file dan folder
Cara ini adalah dengan cara membuat Hidden file atau folder kita dengan cara pada file atau folder yang kita pilih-->klik-kanan-->Properties-->Beri centang pada hidden, maka file atau folder kita akan hidden alias tak nampak..., tapi bila hanya ini yang kita lakukan, sudah banyak sekali orang yang mengetahui cara ini, tinggal membuka menu Tools pada explorer Tools-->folder options-->View-->pindah kan centang pada "Show hidden files and folders" -->maka folder atau file yang kita hidden tadi akan nampak...maka agar lebih aman kita hilangkan saja tab "folder options" pada menu Tools tersebut, caranya:
Klik Start--> Run--> ketik "regedit"-->Enter-->pada jendela registry editor klik tab HKEY_CURRENT_USER-->Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer -->pada jendela sebelah kanan klik-kanan di tempat kosong-->New-->DWORD Value-->beri nama value ini dengan "NoFolderOptions" lalu-->Dobel klik NoFolderOptions-->isi value data dengan "1" (defaultnya "0"), selesai tutup registry editor, maka menu Folder options akan hilang.
untuk memunculkan folder option kembali, caranya:
Klik Satrt--> Run-->ketik "gpedit.msc"-->pada jendela Group Policy-->klik user configuration-->administrativ template-->Windows components-->windows explorer-->cari menu "Remove the Folder Options menu item from the tools menu"
Double-klik lalu pilih disable--> OK, maka Folder Optionsnya sudah muncul kembali, dan untuk menyembunyikan lagi pilih "Enabled" pada menu ini.
2. menyembunyikan Drive
Hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan maksud orang lain tidak bisa akses data komputer anda Ikutilah langkah berikut.
Klik Start----->Run, ketikkan "regedit"-->Enter-->pada jendela Registry Editor-->pilih tab-->HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows \CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer -->pada jendela sebelah kanan klik-kanan di tempat kosong-->New-->DWORD Value-->beri nama value ini dengan " NoDrives" lalu-->Dobel klik NoDrives-->pada "Base"(type data) Pilih "Decimal" (defaultnya "hexadecimal") -->lalu isi Value data dengan Nilai Drive yang akan di sembunyikan , Dibawah ini adalah data nama Drive dan nilainya untuk anda isikan.

Untuk memunculkan folder "Drive" kembali, caranya:
Klik Satrt--> Run-->ketik "gpedit.msc"-->pada jendela Group Policy-->klik user configuration-->administrativ template-->Windows components-->windows explorer-->cari menu " hide these specified drives in My Computer" Doble-klik -->pilih "Disabled" maka Drive akan muncul kembali...dan untuk menyembunyikan lagi pilih "Enabled" pada menu ini.
Sebagai tambahan saya berikan 2 buah software pembantu jika anda malas utak-atik Registry yaitu "Folder Lock" dan "Wincripto" untuk anda Download, "Folder Lock" adalah Software untuk mengunci File, Folder, dan Drive , sedangkan Wincripto adalah untuk meng-encript file.
Jadi 2 Software ini adalah Tool pembantu anda untuk mengamankan Data di komputer anda

Disable drives in My Computer from unknown user.
If you want to prevent any users to access your computer or network shared drives using My Computer then you can hide the all drives for example C:/, D:/ and save your data from any unknown user. But next time you can turn on the display of these drives using registry editor. Now edit the computer registry to turn off the display of drives, but be careful to work with computer registry.

3. Once you get in, the first screen will indicate that Setup is inspecting your system and
loading files.
4. When you get to the Welcome to Setup screen, press ENTER to Setup Windows now
5. The Licensing Agreement comes next - Press F8 to accept it.
6. The next screen is the Setup screen which gives you the option to do a Repair.It should read
something like “If one of the following Windows XP installations is damaged, Setup can try
to repair it”Use the up and down arrow keys to select your XP installation (if you only have
one, it should already be selected) and press R to begin the Repair process.
7. Let the Repair run. Setup will now check your disks and then start copying files which can
take several minutes.
8. Shortly after the Copying Files stage, you will be required to reboot. (this will happen
automatically – you will see a progress bar stating “Your computer will reboot in 15
seconds”
9. During the reboot, do not make the mistake of “pressing any key” to boot from the CD
again! Setup will resume automatically with the standard billboard screens and you will
notice Installing Windows is highlighted.
10.Keep your eye on the lower left hand side of the screen and when you see the Installing
Devices progress bar, press SHIFT + F10. This is the security hole! A command console will
now open up giving you the potential for wide access to your system
11.At the prompt, type NUSRMGR.CPL and press Enter. Voila! You have just gained graphical
access to your User Accounts in the Control Panel.
12. Now simply pick the account you need to change and remove or change your password as
you prefer. If you want to log on without having to enter your new password, you can type
control userpasswords2 at the the prompt and choose to log on without being asked for
password. After you’ve made your changes close the windows, exit.
"STOP” ERROR MESSAGES AT SHUTDOWN

As a review of these articles will show, these are commonly device driver problems, but may also be caused by troublesome software (such as the notorious CrashGuard), or a problem in a system service. MSKB article Q262575 discusses a shutdown problem of this type, known to exist in Windows 2000 due to a resource (IRQ) conflict, if you have PACE Interlok anti-piracy software installed. This problem may occur in Windows XP as well.
Microsoft advises the following as one approach to these problems: Restart the computer. Press F8 during the restart and select “Last Known Good Configuration.” If you catch the problem when it first occurs (meaning you likely have installed only one or two drivers or new service), this will return you to a previous working condition. (Would System Restore accomplish the same thing? I don’t know, and don’t have a broken system to test it on.)
Microsoft reported similarly that these STOP code error message occur when Windows XP is trying to shut down devices. He says that he has seen this twice: once with Logitech Quickcam installed (with an unsupported driver), and once with a USB DSL modem that would hang if it wasn’t disconnected before shutdown.
Make your PC shutdown at a time you wish.
There are two methods to make your computer shutdown at a time you wish.
METHOD 1:
1. Right click on your desktop and choose "New=>shortcuts".
2. In the box that says "Type the location of the shortcut",type in "shutdown -s -t 3600" without the quotation marks and click next. Note: 3600 are the amount of seconds before your computer shuts down. So , 60secs*60mins=3600secs.
3. Make up a name for the shortcut and you're done.You can change the icon by right clicking=>properities=>change icon=>browse
TO ABORT:
To make an abort key to stop the shutdown timer just create another shortcut and makethe "location of the shortcut" to " shutdown -a" without the quotes.
METHOD 2:
Here is another trick to shutdown at a specific time, for example you wish to shutdown at
11:35am. Type this in
start=>Run

How and What's NTFS and FAT partitions
I still remember of when at past time i using FAT 16 Partition on win 3.1.1 and win 95, with win 3.1.1 at that time my pc not yet used mouse ..hmm...sweet memory. Following just knowledge about NTFS and FAT Partitions and related in windows xp system file .
Where FAT16 allowed a 2GB maximum, FAT32 only allows a 32GB maximum. If your hard drive is over 32GB, you'll have to split it into separate partitions, or use NTFS.
